  • In each session, the starting point is always what you want to explore. Whether it’s a challenge you’re facing, a feeling you’re trying to understand, or a goal you’d like to work toward, the session is shaped around your needs. You’ll be met with a safe and supportive environment where we can dive into your unique thoughts, feelings, and experiences. From there, we’ll work together to develop a personalized approach that helps you move forward in the direction you desire, with compassion and understanding. Whether in-person or online, the focus remains on you and your journey.

  • I specialize in working with individuals facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, stress, grief, emotional regulation, self-esteem, transitions, and dependency. Whether you’re dealing with personal struggles, relationship difficulties, or professional changes, my approach aims to help you understand the root of these feelings and find effective ways to move forward.

  • Sessions last 55 minutes and are priced at €90 per hour, including VAT. This rate applies to both in-person and online sessions. Payment is processed through bank transfer.

    If you find that the cost is outside your budget, please reach out, as I offer a limited number of sliding scale rates.

  • The number of sessions needed depends on your unique situation, goals, and preferences. Some clients feel they’ve made progress in just a few sessions, while others may prefer longer-term support. Together, we can explore what’s best for you and adjust as needed.

  • Unfortunately, I am unable to directly process insurance claims. However, some insurance providers may offer partial reimbursement for therapy sessions. I recommend checking with your provider to see if you're eligible for coverage.

  • In the national healthcare system, it’s common to experience long waiting times and limited availability. Private practice offers a more flexible and personalized alternative, where care is not constrained by the same restrictions. This means we can focus entirely on what matters most to you—offering support at your own pace and on your own schedule, with the freedom to tailor the process to your needs and goals.

  • Sessions are available both in-person and online, offering flexibility to fit your schedule and needs.

    In-person sessions are held at two convenient locations in Amsterdam:

    • Van Eeghenlaan 27, Amsterdam (Vondel Park)

    • Binnenkant 24, Amsterdam (Centrum)

    Each space offers a calm and private environment to work through your concerns.

  • You can easily book a session by reaching out through the contact form on the website or by sending an email.

    Once we’ve connected, we’ll arrange a time that works best for you.

  • We know that life can be unpredictable, and that’s completely okay! If you need to cancel/reschedule a therapy session, just let HealingHearts Therapy know at least 24 prior to the booked session, and there will be no charge. If it’s shorter notice, a small fee of 25% of the session cost will apply.

  • Yes, confidentiality is a fundamental part of the therapeutic relationship. Everything you share in sessions is kept private, with a few legal and ethical exceptions, such as situations where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others. I follow strict ethical guidelines to safeguard your personal information, and any records or notes are securely stored and accessed only by me. We’ll go over confidentiality in more detail at the start of our work together.

  • Yes! Online therapy can be just as effective as in-person sessions. I offer the same level of care, attention, and support regardless of the format. Whether you’re meeting in person or online, you will receive thoughtful and compassionate guidance tailored to your needs.

  • Therapy can be helpful for anyone going through difficult moments or facing challenges.
